Busy Doesn't Even Come Close!

Sorry for the blog black out of late. What with the festive season almost upon us, I have been up to my eyeballs in work do's, football matches, birthdays, Christmas shopping, music festivals and paint from attempting to finish the lounge in time for Christmas.

Christmas lunch after it moved onto Scandipop in Denmark Street and turned messy!

House Progress: The lounge is almost finished. We are so close now to finishing. I can't wait. The lounge is pretty much painted now. We have a curtain rail (bargain from B&Q - advertised in the shop at £39.98 but was actually £19.96) and we have even bought a solid wood folding dinning table from eBay for the reasonable sum of £46. The next task for us is to sand the steps to the front and back doors and the stairs so we can stain them before we lay the flooring (which we hope to buy in the sales after Christmas).The thought of being able to sit on a sofa is keeping me going at the moment. I can't wait! I cannot believe I have been sitting on garden furniture for almost a year!
