Cupcakes

I am a frequent reader of Ljc's blog. She lives in Rochester in the States and one of her favourite subjects is cupcakes. Every time I read about the cupcakes she has tested at various different bakeries in America, I feel jealous that we have not got cupcake bakeries in the UK.

However, on Saturday, I was wandering through Greenwich market looking for furniture shops and stumbled across Daisy Cakes Bake Shop on Turpin Lane.

They had an amazing selection of cupcakes including the USA favourite Red Velvet and a Rhubarb and Ginger one which I might go back and try another time. In the end I settled for a vanilla cupcake with vanilla cream cheese frosting.

This is possibly the most amazing cake I have ever had!
