He's Just Not That Into You

On Wednesday, Tadders and I took advantage of the Orange 2-4-1 deal and saw 'He's Just Not That Into You'.

It's a great film. I read an interesting article a few months back on the BBC website which said films and television programmes create unrealistic expectations of love and romance in women. This film will shatter any expectations you have into tiny fragments. Welcome to the real world of love and relationships!

It tells of the rules and the exceptions to the rules and this is very true. Yes you will always know someone who was swept off their feet and whose fairy tale came true, but lets face it, most of the time its not going to happen like it does in your head, or on the tv, or at the cinema.

One of the recurring themes came across as 'if a guy wants to be with you, he will make it happen'. And I couldn't agree more. If you go out on one date but he doesn't ring you after, he hasn't lost your number. If you sleep with someone and they don't ring often, they don't make an effort and they only sleep with you again because they want to, they are never going to be boyfriend material and you will not change them.

For anyone who needs a wake up call in relation to relationships - go and see this film! For anyone else who just wants a laugh - go and see this film. I highly recommend it.
