Not so Lazy Bank Holiday

Bank Holidays are supposed to be about resting and not doing much. But I am not someone who normally goes with convention.

Monday morning I got up early for a run along the river. I need to start training for the BUPA 10000 as it's not that far away now. Sadly the morning was not that great in terms of the weather. It wasn't raining - just a damp mist making the Thames Estuary look grey and dull. It wasn't helped by the fact the wind was blowing the sewage work stench up towards London. At least it made me run faster to escape.

In the afternoon I met up with Nic, Dan, Kerry, Drew, Helen and Ben and headed down to Knole Park in Sevenoaks for a walk. By the time we arrived the grey skies had lifted and the sun had made an appearance which made for a warmer than expect walk.

We wandered around and let the boys get up to mischief:

The girls went for the more classic pose:

And we said hello to Bambi and co:

Afterwards we headed to The Woodman pub for some food before heading home again.
