Really must try harder!

At the start of each week I think 'I must write a blog post this week and not just the Friday Track as there are things I have done which I wish to share'. However things get in the way (such as impromptu trips to the pub and The Apprentice) and it's Thursday lunchtime and suddenly I realise it's almost Friday Track time and I haven't written the bloody post.

One of my 28 was not to procrastinate. I am not doing well.

So what have I been up to?

Well I have actually completed another New Year Aim. The pile of items for eBay have now been listed and sold. Woo Hoo. It's nice having floor space again!


As for other tasks:

A couple of weeks ago on the advice of my physio I got myself a Wii Balance Board. It is helping me in a number of ways. Firstly I can now monitor my weight more effectively (so far I have lost 4 lb and now hover just above the 63kg mark), I can do balance tests to make sure I am not over compensating muscle wise (apparently I am out of balance a bit which is why I am having back problems) and I can use it with EA Sports Active to increase the amount of exercises I can do.

In addition to the above I am cycling more and more, still going to the gym and taking part in pilates. I also have been trying very hard to be good on the diet front and eat healthily and not drink as much.

So I am getting there on the weight aim and working up slowly to the 5 and 10k aim.

Cooking wise I am not doing so well. I've been out a lot so haven't been using the cook books nearly as much as I would like.

There are plans afoot on some of the other aims too but I will bring updates on them as and when I have something interesting to report!
