Anti-Valentines Dinner

Proper Garlic Bread

What better way to say I love you than with a bloodshot and tons of garlic?

It's how we roll in the Urban Fox household. One of my favourite bars is London is the hidden Vampire Bar downstairs at Garlic and Shots on Frith Street. I been here for drinks more times than I can remember but I have never ventured into the restaurant upstairs. In the summer we were with friends out in the beer garden they have and saw other people being served garlic bread of monstrous proportions. As a lover of garlic bread I had to come back for food at some point.

It never occurred to me until I saw the menu that Garlic and Shots is actually a Swedish restaurant. And everything has garlic in it. Including the ice cream!

We have never tried the garlic beer but apparently it isn't very nice.

Bloodshots though - I highly recommend. We had those as a starter of sorts, followed by garlic bread and for our mains Andy has nachos while I had Swedish smoked sausages with garlic mash. It was heaven. We were stuffed at the end.

If you are in Soho and fancy a meal with an alternative twist, I highly recommend this place. There are not many places in London you can enjoy a meal whilst listening to metal!
