Project - I Will Look Awesome in My Wedding Dress - Week 3 Update

I am three weeks into the project. I have increased the amount of exercise I am doing and also attempting to eat healthily at the hardest time of year.

Despite running a 10K and lots of other exercise I actually gained weight this week. Mid-week I was down a couple of kgs but a combination of Christmas Parties and a celebratory pizza after our run has put me back to square one. Humph. On the plus side though I have lost some inches therefore I do not feel as upset as I could have done.

I won't tell you about all the exercise I am doing this week otherwise I will have nothing to write about in future weeks! 

But like the food it is all about small changes. For the past 3 weeks I have been getting up 15 minutes earlier, donning my gym kit and doing 30 minutes of exercise by following the 30 day challenge on my Nintendo Wii. The game is years old now but it works really well and is great for a quick morning work out.

I feel more energised in the mornings and it is slowly building up some muscle.

This week I am starting my PT sessions with Anthony. I am hopeful that the sessions will help build up more of my upper body muscle. My legs are in good shape but I still need to work on the rest of me.
